Border Cabs operate on both a Hackney Carriage License and a Private Hire License, meaning we are able to ply for hire from the streets/ranks, using the preset Hackney tariff or work via a booking system whereby fares are negotiable within reason.
The Hackney table of fares, as set by Berwick-Upon-Tweed Borough Council Licensing Department, can be viewed here. This tariff was correct as of November 2007.
NB. Border Cabs generally uses the Hackney tariff.
