Border Cabs, which is based just outside Belford between Alnwick and Berwick-Upon-Tweed,
was created in June 2004, when the proprietor, Fiona, disallusioned with city
life, decided to take a gamble and leave the rat-race behind to begin a new
life on the beautiful Northumberland coast. It became rapidly clear that there
was a niche in the market for such a service and Border Cabs was born! The
company grew from strength to strength, developing a steady customer base,
and gaining various local contracts.
With over 20 years of combined customer service skills, and a reliability
which is regularly praised, Border Cabs became one of the regions success
stories. The company has recently purchased two brand-new executive
spec vehicles, comfortable for the everyday journey, but with that added
touch of luxury for executive travel. The company is looking to expand further
in the foreseeable future.
Border Cabs operates throughout the year. However, it is advisable to pre-book for journeys which are to be undertaken on weekends, bank-holidays, or after midnight, to ensure a slot is available..
